Montreal's Underground City, Canada

Montreal Underground City covers an area of 4 million square meters and includes subway transportation links, 2000 stores, 200 restaurants, 40 banks and 34 cinemas. It is one of the largest underground complexes in the world. Montreal is rewarded as one of the most livable cities partly due to its huge Underground City. Montreal is famous for its long and cold winters and hot and humid summer. However, after the establishment of the Underground City, it can hold activities all year around. In winter, about 500,000 people use the Underground City every day.
