Located in Manhattan in New York City, Fifth Avenue is a major thoroughfare which stretches from Washington Square Park in the city's Greenwich Village neighborhood to 138th Street, however the section between 49th Street and 60th Street, full of prestigious shops, including the original store of the world famous jeweler Tiffany and Co., is what makes it famous. It is the most expensive street in the world, according to Forbes in 2008.
