Newark in New Jersey was voted the least friendly city in the world. Readers complained that the local people are rude. It is best known its cheap and less busy airport, which is close to New York. For many people, that is the only reason to stop there. "I visited Newark on business and would not recommend this city for anything, except a cheaper/less busy airport to fly into while visiting other cities," said one reader.
