Tianping Mountain

The 211m high Tianping Mountain is located to the west of Lingyan Mountain in Suzhou.

Along with its rich historical sites, Tianping Mountain is famous for its red maple, grotesque stone, and crystal spring. To the front of the mountain there is a grove of 400 maples that dates back hundreds of years. As winter approaches, the mountain is colored by maple, tuning from green to yellow, orange, purple and then red.

Best time for red leaves: End of November – Beginning of December
