Mt. Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world with a height of 8,848.13 meters above sea level. It looks like a huge pyramid reaching into the sky.

Mt. Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world with a height of 8,848.13 meters above sea level. It looks like a huge pyramid reaching into the sky. The snow line of the mountain is 5,800 to 6,200 meters high on the northern slope and 5,500 to 6,100 meters high on the southern slope. Around Mt. Qomolangma, there are over 40 mountains that have heights of more than 7,000 meters above sea level. Moreover, 548 glaciers lie among the mountains, making the whole area stunning to see. The best time to visit Mt. Qomolangma is from April to June and from September to October. [Photo: Global Times]
