Brief Introduction:

As the year of the Ox draws to a close and 2010, the year of the Tiger approaches, all in China eagerly look forward to the Spring Festival, the most joyous holiday of the year. Most people will enjoy a vacation between February 14th to 21st, 2010. Just like Christmas in the West, Spring Festival is the time for great food and family reunions in China. So, let's take a look at the Chinese New Year together...

Day 1

Destinations :Arrive in Beijing

Today's Activities:

During the Chinese New Year, world-famous Nanjing Road is crowded with people. In the brisk air the smell of firecrackers signals to all that the time to celebrate New Years Eve has arrived. Tonight, learn to make dumplings in an ordinary Beijing people family and share the happiness of them.

Meals: Dinner

Day 2

Destinations :Beijing

Today's Activities:Today we will visit the Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. Then we will go on to a Hutong Tour by rickshaw. After that we will have a look at the Temple Fair.

Day 3

Destinations :Beijing

Today's Activities:

Today we will have day tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Mutianyu offers an alternative Great Wall experience compared to the popular Badaling section. This portion of China's ancient engineering marvel features an optional cable car ride, or an opportunity to climb more than 1,400 steps to the top. Mutianyu Great Wall is much harder to climb than Badaling Great Wall because of the steeper stairs. After lunch, a short visit to a nearby Cloisonne Factory is also included.

Day 4

Destinations :Beijing

Today's Activities:Today is whole day free time for you. You can visit some senery sites in the city on your own, or choose our seat-in-coach day tour to Lama Temple, Panda Garden and Summer Palace.

Day 5

Destinations :Beijing

Today's Activities:

Today is whole day free time for you. A good choice is going around for shopping, either at shopping malls or local markets such as Xiushui Market and Hongqiao Pearl Market. Or take an optional tour to Temple of Heaven and Beijing Olympic Green and stadiums.

Day 6

Destinations :Depart from Beijing

Today's Activities:Free at leisure, until you are ready to be transferred to the airport for your departure.
