How to get to Kenting?

As Kenting is at the southern tip of Taiwan, 90 kilometers away from the southern center of Taiwan -- Kaohsiung -- the most convenient way to get there is taking the coach from the Kaohsiung bus terminal. It takes approximately 2.5 hours and costs NT$350 ($11). Coaches travel frequently from Kaohsiung to Kenting.

Where to stay?

Since increasing numbers of visitors flock to this beautiful beach, it seems like each corner of the island has been turned into hotels, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a place to sleep.
