Tips:

Be sure to prepare for the cold mountain weather and make your hotel reservation ahead of time so you can properly enjoy your tour.

Part of the road was destroyed by the August 8th flood disaster in 2009 and could not be repaired in time for the flower season, so be prepared for some closings along certain sections of the road.
