To further integrate the tourism resources of Guangdong, Hunan, and Hubei, the three provinces have signed a cooperation agreement to build a golden tourism channel.

Three parties will work together to develop and promote inter-provincial tourist routes and products to build a uniform regional tourism brand and a barrier-free golden tourism channel by taking advantage of the high speed rail and expressway links.

They will adopt a model of 1+X to promote tourism products to each other and to conduct joint marketing activities in other markets. They will also accelerate the construction of a regional tourism database on their own official tourism websites, and establish a regional tourism market management cooperation liaison mechanism and a joint conference system. For cooperation on the expressways, three provinces will set up a self drive service system targeting high-end business travelers and will promote self drive routes that connect to the stations of high speed rail links.
