Herdsmen families on grassland in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have cooperated to turn their yurts into guesthouses to amuse tourists.

Ma Yongsheng, vice director of Inner Mongolia Travel Bureau, said herdsman-home tour has become a new spotlight in the local tourist development.

"Once tourists come, several herdsmen families would cooperate in providing accommodation, cooking food, arranging performances like folk song singing and dancing. This has started a new model of tourism in the pasture," Ma said.
