Zhujiajiao

Zhujiajiao is a water village located on the outskirts of Shanghai. It is known as "The Venice of China" and attracts visitors from downtown Shanghai.

Zhujiajiao is an AAAA-rated tourist attraction with various scenic spots. A private garden called Ke Zhi, which occupies 96.7 acres, is a good example. Old historical buildings such as banks and even a Qing Dynasty post office can still be found here today. Dian Shan Hill, famous around Shanghai, offers a scenic vista for looking out over Dian Shan Lake. Numerous birds inhabit the area year-round.
