As the only item without Tibetan characteristics in Tibet Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai, Lhoba-style weaving was displayed at the Tibet's cultural heritage exhibition.

Yayi, a Lhoba girl from Mainling County, Nyingchi Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region attended the Expo with her beautiful dresses and weaving tools. It was the first time for the Lhoba girl to get to Shanghai, the most prosperous city of China.

As for this exhibition, it was also considered as a try for Lhoba-style weaving to "show" this Tibet's intangible cultural heritage to the whole world.
