Similar to Kunming, Dali in Yunnan Province also enjoys a pleasant spring climate which is popular all the year round. Located in the low latitudes, the city receives sufficient daylight and sunshine most time of the year. Due to this favorable climate condition, it is one of the best cities to spend a winter vacation in China.

Cang Mountain

Located at the southern foot of the Yunling Mountains, the Cang Mountain is a part of the Hengduan mountain group. It connects the crystal rippling water of Erhai Lake in the East. Also known as Diancangshan, the mountain is always jade-green in the four seasons, hence the name. It is composed of 19 peaks and 18 brooks.

Cang Mountain is well known for its rich plant resources. There are over 3,000 kinds of plants on it. It also contains a great variety of waterfalls, lakes, clouds, ponds and springs. The amazing scenery makes it a hot hiking trail in Dali.
