More than 600 pieces of Chinese artwork that have returned from overseas were displayed in Hangzhou on Jan. 5. The batch of artwork, which dates back to eras ranging from the Spring and Autumn period (722-481 BC) and the Warring States period (403-221 BC) to the Song, Ming and Qing dynasties, was purchased from Japan by Hangzhou's local collectors.
