Hong Kong Disneyland announced that it had attracted a record of more than 5.2 million visitors in 2010 — 13% up on the previous year.

The park attributed the growth to the increasing number of visitors from Southeast Asian. The number of visitors from India rose by 80% year on year, and they stayed longer and spent more than those from the Chinese mainland.

Hong Kong Disneyland will soon launch a new event "Celebration in the Air: Flights of Fantasy Parade", which is aimed at giving visitors an unexpected experience.

Hong Kong Disneyland was opened in 2005, and is the smallest of Disney's five theme park resorts.
