Biyun Temple may not have as many recreational activities as other lantern festivals, but it still features praying and couplet-writing. People can also give an adzuki bean blessing, in which the adzuki beans are arranged into the character "fu" (福, which means "fortune") and then hung on the wall of Arhats Hall (Luohantang) to bless a better life.
