Air China, the country's flag carrier, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Telecom, the country's largest land-line telephone operator, on information cooperation.

Under the agreement, the two sides will actively cooperate in marketing, product development and innovation, air-to-ground communications, information technology, 3G technology applications, and customer services.

According to Wang Xiaochu, the general manager of China Telecom, the company will provide long term in-depth technical support and high-quality service to Air China, and will help it to improve the efficiency of its operations.
