Some 10 years ago, citizen Qu Xisheng built a duckhouse for a brood of wild ducks here over the lake. With his 10-year-effort and the help of local government, the duckhouse had developed into a 158 square meters large island, providing a shelter for over 100 birds including wild ducks, mandarin ducks, and night herons.
