Summer is finally here, so there are no more excuses. It's time to stretch yourself, get moving and get some exercise. But many gyms around town are crowded and expensive, especially the ones in high-rise compounds and office buildings. One viable alternative is joining university facilities, which often have state-of-the-art facilities (many of them were built to serve the athletes in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games), and occasionally welcome non-student users. Many of them offer discounts for students, so you can get a friend to make a reservation for you, or just choose one in your neighborhood and enjoy your upcoming sweaty time.
