Nalati Prairie, located in the Yili prefecture in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is regarded as China's most beautiful grassland. It is also one of the world's four largest alpine meadows. Every year from June to September, the prairie presents its best scenery. Lush grass sprouts from the ground and is dotted with blossoming wild flowers. In this latest album of photos by local photographers, the prairie is captured as a piece of austere land forgotten by the bustling outside world.
