China's meteorological authority on Wednesday forecast that snow is likely to fall in most parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from Tuesday to Thursday.

During the period, heavy snow will hit the plateau's southern and eastern parts, eastern parts of Tibet autonomous region, northern and western parts of the Western Sichuan Plateau, said the National Meteorological Center.
