Eastern Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty

The Eastern Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty (清东陵) is located at the foot of Changrui Mountain in Zunhua City, Hebei Province. The mausoleum comprises 15 imperial tombs and covers 2,500 square km.

The most exquisite construction on the grounds of the Qing Eastern Mausoleum was the Dingdong Mausoleum, the mausoleum of the Empress Dowager Cixi. It took six years to build and cost 2.27 million taels of silver.
