The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will hold a food festival under the theme -- "Miracle of Thai Food Festival 2012" from June 15 to 17 in northern resort province of Chiang Mai, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported Sunday.

This is the second time the event has been held, after its success in Bangkok during March and April last year.

According to Mrs. Suchada Borsub, executive director of the tourism investment department of the TAT, the festival will present the unique and interesting characteristics of Thai food in order to stimulate the country's tourism industry.

The festival will showcase foods from all four regions to be displayed in six separate zones: Miracle of North, Amazing South, Isan Exotic, Heart of Central, taste innovations, and Royal Project products.
