It runs along the border of Guizhou and Sichuan provinces, originating from Zhenxiong County in Yunnan Province. It winds its way through the valleys around the Maotai Town, in Renhuai City, Guizhou Province, provides a steady source of pure water for the national liquor of maotai, which has given it the nickname of the Mother River of Maotai. There is a thick forest and beautiful views as well as historical relics along the side of the river and walking along the green valley is a delightful experience. [Photo: CRIENGLISH.com]
