Dragonair has announced that it will launch a daily flight between Hong Kong and Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, from October 26, 2008.
The new route will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, the flight will start from Hong Kong at 08:45, arriving at Hanoi at 09:45; the return flight will depart from Hanoi at 10:45, and arrive at Hong Kong at 13:35. On every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the flight will start from Hong Kong at 18:05, and arrive at Hanoi at 19:00; the return flight will depart from Hanoi at 19:55, arriving at Hong Kong at 22:50.
The additional route will offer a service for business and leisure travelers from Hong Kong, North Asia, North America, Australia, and New Zealand to Hanoi.
Deng Guojie, executive president of Dragonair, said that with Hanoi as additional flight destination, the company will further expand business in key markets around Asia region.
