Four months ago, 11-year-old Li Yue was a promising ballet student in China's southwestern Sichuan province. Her dream to become a ballerina was shattered by the May 12th earthquake. The girl lost her left leg in the disaster. But she refused to give up and she continues to pursue her ballet dreams.
For Li Yue, Saturday night was like a dream come true as she danced before 90-thousand spectators. But in her dream she had never done it this way.
Li Yue, said, "I have finally fulfilled my dream of dancing. The other thing is, it is a way for me to repay the uncles and aunties who cared so much about me."
