Liu Zhen Yue's film 'My Name's Liu Yuejin'

How successful the book will be isn't known. But the book and the movie create an attractive duo.

Director Feng Xiaogang's 2004 film Cell Phone adapts Liu Zhenyun's novel. The box office success has also boosted the book's sale. But Liu's own film "My Name's Liu Yuejin", adapted from his own book proved to be a more lackluster production than the original fiction.
