The 3-Point Shootout had to go to overtime and in the extra session Miami's Daequan Cook easily beat Orlando's Rashard Lewis.

Daequan Cook, 3-point shootout champion, said, "It means a lot. You know, showing that hard work pays off. How important it was for me, you know not just me but my team. I was representing a lot so it was very important for me to win tonight."

The highlight of the night was the Slam Dunk contest. Clark Kent, better known as Dwight Howard, changed into his superhero persona in a phone booth before going out to defend his Dunk title. Howard had another basket brought in that was higher than regulation and smoothly slammed the ball down off of the glass.It was up to the fans to vote if it was good enough.
