It wasn't. Clad in Kryptonite - the Knicks St. Patrick's Day green jersey - Nate Robinson would defeat his opponent. Diminutive Robinson leapt over big Howard for a massive slam dunk.Robinson secured 52 percent of the votes to unseat last year's champion.

Nate Robinson, Slam Dunk Champion, said, "You know, Dwight, he's a great athlete. He's a, you know, on top of that he's a great guy because he's so cool, so mellow, down to earth, goofy, he likes to have fun, dance, smile ... you know, and he brings the best out of you. And in this dunk contest I would love to share the championship with him. Cut the trophy right down in half and give half to him for helping me out with this dunk, you know, with this championship."
