A convoy bringing medicine, food and clothing from the United Kingdom has reached Gaza.
About 50 British volunteers and 100 vehicles carrying the supplies passed through Egypt's Rafah border crossing on Monday.
The mission is part of a Gaza aid campaign organized by the Viva Palestine group and backed by UK Member of Parliament, George Galloway.
Other aid, including electrical generators and a fire engine, would enter via Israel. The UK delegation hopes to get the aid into Gaza through coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
