Ministry of Commerce spokesman Yao Jian said China's overseas purchasing activities will be a regular activity. Yao Jian said China will go to France seeking trade and investment in the future. He also said that China's economic development will need help from other countries, in terms of resources, technology and talent.
China will continue organize groups to travel overseas, including to Europe and the US, as well as countries closer to home. In February this year, the ministry organized a group of almost a hundred companies to visit Germany, Switzerland, England and Spain for purchasing.
