That's according to a diplomat close to the UN nuclear watchdog.
The diplomat says inspectors had ceased all duties monitoring Yongbyon's shutdown and removed agency seals on equipment there.
He said the IAEA's four-person team was likely to leave the country on Thursday. Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department says Pyongyang told a separate U.S.monitoring team to leave the country as well, and they were preparing to go.
Pyongyang ordered the expulsions in response to Monday's UN Security Council presidential statement, which condemned the country's recent rocket launch.
