Los Angeles Lakers Coach Phil Jackson is also looking forward to meeting the Magic in the finals.
Phil Jackson, LA Lakers Coach, said, "Well it means we have great deal of respect for them as far as a team. They've played down the stretch to win in both the games they played against us. Obviously those are mitigating circumstances. They had different people in the line-up, we had different people in the line-up. It was fourth months ago, but it certainly gives us a great deal of respect for them."
Paul Gasol feels confident about the coming games.
Paul Gasol, LA Lakers player, said, "I think we're in a better place this year overall. I think our run through the playoffs this year has helped us to be a tougher team. It brought us together as a team, as a group. It made us appreciate where we are and how hard we worked to get here. And the experience obviously of the last year throughout the playoffs and especially losing in the finals I think also made us grow as a team. So overall I think we are in a good place. we like our chances. Obviously Orlando is playing extremely well. They deserve and earned a spot in the finals and a chance to fight for a championship. Obviously we just want to contemplate our options and what we can do to beat them."
