Beijing's night life has really taken off in the past few years. The ancient capital becomes very trendy at night with a great variety of spots to choose from. Today we'll recommend some of the bars that you might want to head to for a memorable night out on the town.

Bed Bar
The Bed Bar at Old Gulou Street is something of a trailblazer. Carved out of an old Siheyuan, or traditional courtyard it attracts a well-heeled clientele eager to recline on its distinctive beds.
Inside the bar is a maze-like nest of semi-separate rooms, all peppered with numerous comfy rugs, paintings and pillows.
It's a super cool place to chill out in the midst of a buzzing city. Drinks are decent too. Some patrons say the Bed serves Beijing's best Mojitos. Its walls are a soothing white the music is cool and the bar food, served on tapas-style small plates is better than probably expected.
