Spectators are then led to marvel at things both past and present. There's the harbor of Macao as it was four centuries ago and its prosperous economy back then, and a plan to build a bridge that will link Macao and the mainland coastal city Zhuhai.

Videos finally lead visitors to the final part of the story, local people's lifestyle. The eco-friendly city scenes, nature loving people, assortment of snacks, and the people's favorite -- sport car racing.

The movie has won the silver plaque at the 46th Chicago Intercom Competition. And it's an efficient way to introduce a city to audiences that might not have been familiar with it.

A visitor at Macao Pavilion said, "The videos present an all-around view of Macao."

"In 1999, I know a bit of Macao through the song "The Song of Seven Sons." Now I know it thoroughly, its food, culture, everything," said a visitor.

"I haven't been to Macao, but through the video, I know how it developed. I will take a trip there some day," said a visitor.

The Macao pavilion is located south of China pavilion, and you can catch Macao Week through Sunday.
