Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met in Beijing on Sunday with former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

They discussed Sino-US relations as well as issues of common concern at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing.
Kissinger, who paved way for the establishment of China-US diplomatic relations in the 1970s, was in Beijing for a bi-track dialogue with Chinese diplomats and researchers.
