Commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) ground forces said on Sunday that the IRGC will give a "crushing" response to the group behind a deadly suicide attack on the IRGC in southeastern Iran, local English-language Press TV reported.
"We will give a very harsh and crushing response to this group so that it will never be able to launch such act any more in the country," IRGC ground forces Commander Mohammad Pakpour was quoted as saying.
Early on Sunday, a deadly bomb attack occurred in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan near Iran's border with Pakistan, killing some 30 people, including a number of IRGC commanders, and wounded 30 others, according to the official IRNA news agency.
The Sunni rebel group Jundallah (God's soldiers) has claimed responsibility for the deadly suicide attack.
