Book on Nepal-China relationship released in Nepali capital

Nepali President Ram Baran Yadav released a book entitled "Nepal-China A historical prespective" written by late Niranjan Bhattarai on Tuesday.

A special program was organized at the Presidential Palace to release the book in the capital Kathmandu.

The author, a diplomatist, was working in Beijing in Nepali Embassy to China for four years in the 80's last century, and he was also a distinguished scholar with diploma in Chinese language from Indian Universities and a certificate of study in Chinese language from Beijing University, China.

He has also authored a book on Nepal-China relations that is " Nepal and China Relation" in Nepali, English which was further translated into Chinese as well.

Late Bhattarai passed away a few weeks ago.

Addressing the function, President Ram Baran Yadav praised the hard work and enthusiasm made by the author to write the book.

Yadav said that the book will help in strengthening the Nepal- China relationship as it is about the age long historical, religious and cultural relationship between the two countries.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Qui Guohong said that Bhattarai is important figure in Nepal-China relationship.

He also said that the book will be significant document for the bilateral relation between the two countries.
