Greece is considering ways to facilitate easier entry into Greece for Chinese students wishing to attend courses in post-secondary education centres and liberal studies centres.
Alternate Foreign Minister Mariliza Xenogiannakopoulou has already forwarded a document to Parliament detailing efforts towards this goal.
Xenogiannakopoulou said that the foreign ministry is making "all possible efforts" to facilitate procedures for Chinese students wishing to enter Greece.
Xenogiannakopoulou said that most of the Schengen Pact member-states follow the same standard procedures, adding that adequate language proficiency is the main inhibitory factor for Chinese students wishing to study in Schengen-area countries.
