Two people were killed and another injured after a small plane crashed on Saturday in the U.S. state of Ohio, local media reported.
The crash occurred around 2 p.m. Saturday near the Vinton County Airport, about 50 miles southeast of Columbus, local news outlet WSAZ reported, citing a press release from the Vinton County Sheriff's Office.
Two passengers were confirmed dead, according to the report. The pilot was severely injured and taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment.
Identities of the victims were not released. Authorities are investigating the incident with no word so far on the cause of the crash.
