SCO security councils secretaries meeting in Beijing

The seventh session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Security Councils secretaries is to be held on April 12 in Beijing.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the announcement on Thursday at a press briefing in the capital.
The meeting, which will be hosted by Chinese State Councilor Meng Jianzhu, will focus on issues including the regional security situation and deepening security cooperation among the SCO members.
Founded on June 15, 2001, the SCO groups China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
