Tremors from Indonesia earthquake felt in Singapore

The tremors from Indonesia's 8. 6 magnitude earthquake was felt in parts of Singapore on Wednesday, local media reported.
Channel NewsAsia said local media group MediaCorp and the National Environment Agency received calls from members of the public to report the tremors from different parts of Singapore.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said an Indian Ocean-wide tsunami watch is in effect.
The earthquake in the afternoon prompted authorities in some parts of the Indian Ocean to issue tsunami warnings.
