The Canadian porn actor suspected of killing a Chinese student in Montreal, Canada has been arrested in Berlin.

Canadian police believed that Mr. Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, has taken the life of Mr. Jun Lin, 33, a university student with whom he allegedly had a relationship, CBC News reportes.

Magnotta filmed the killing process and later mailed the victim's dismembered body parts to the federal Liberal and Conservative parties in Ottawa.

Magnotta, dubbed the "Butcher of Montreal" by European media, was alone in a cybercafé in Berlin's Neukoelln district when he was nabbed at 2 P.M. local time (6 P.M. Beijing Time) by police alerted by the cybercafé owner, who recognized the man.

The suspect was held at a Berlin prison, pending trials on Tuesday, according to Berlin police. German police Chief-Supt. Stefan Rieldich was quoted by CBC News as saying that Magnotta, did not try to resist the arrest.

An online video, in which a man apparently uses an ice pick to kill another man, is believed to show the murder, according to Interpol. Montreal police said forensic evidence indicated the killing took place between May 24 evening and early May 25.

Earlier, French police said Magnotta was spotted in Paris on the weekend after he escaped Montreal on an international flight on May 26.

Interpol issued a notice about Magnotta to 190 countries on Thursday.
