Chinese rescue team arrives in Manila

The first batch of emergency medical and rescue team from China assemble at the headquarters of the Red Cross Society of China before leaving for the Philippines on disaster relief missions. The 18 team members from the Red Cross Society of China have arrived in Manila and are expected to leave for Tacloban, one of the hardest-hit areas by Typhoon Haiyan. [China Daily]
