The year of 2010 is the first year for implementation of the second-decade western China development strategy and the showdown year for the after-disaster reconstruction. The Western China International Fair (WCIF), an important platform for trade and cooperation, investment promotion and summit diplomacy of western China and an important carrier for the west-to-west cooperation, east-to-west cooperation and Sino-foreign cooperation, shoulders the new mission of "improve the development and opening-up level of western China in an all-round way". It is of great significance and profound impact to successfully hold the 11th WCIF.
Themed on "development, opening-up, sharing and win-win strategy", the 11th WCIF will give a full play to its functions as an exhibition platform, cooperation carrier and an opening-up window from a higher starting point in line with higher requirements by sticking to the guidance of scientific development outlook and grasping the important strategic opportunity of the new round western China development to boost economic and trade exchanges and investment cooperation of western China with Pan-Asia region and enhance economic and social development soundly and rapidly of western China by series of trade cooperation, investment promotion and foreign exchanges.
Great efforts have been made to make new achievements in the economic cooperation, investment promotion and new breakthroughs in the diplomatic services and to make new progress in the system building of cooperation between China and the neighbor countries and build the WCIF a state-level comprehensive expo with international reputation.
