At the recently concluded 15th West China International Fair, the appearance of energy-efficient and environment-friendly products took center stage.
A variety of air purification products to combat the nationwide smog problem appeared during the exhibition, including a whole air quality solution system complete with an air-cleaning fan, a handheld air detector and both fixed and mobile air purifiers. The air cleaning and purification system showroom attracted lots of visitors during the event.
The search for renewable environment-friendly fuels has intensified as people try to cope with increasing motor vehicles emissions, the main source of air pollution in many parts of China. Eco-energy technologies and achievements, such as biodiesel production and high-efficiency clean ethanol-gasoline technology, were also featured in the WCIF exhibitions. These products and processes are supposed to rapidly reduce carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions, thus improving the excessively high level of PM 2.5 in many parts of the country.
