A new album and an upcoming book of Cao Ying will reveal to fans another different side of the smart lady on stage, Chinese TV hostess, actress and singer Cao Ying said during a promotional event in Zhengzhou, central China's Henan province.

At the invitation of Henan TV, Cao Ying joined their talk show to unveil details of her new album "Dudu Wawa" and her new book named after the album, reported the local newspaper Zhengzhou Daily on Thursday.

Compared with her previous album "Yu Beauty", the new songs are more dynamic, including many hip-pop dance numbers written by Cao Ying herself and her music partners.

"This was the first time I tried a pop style," Cao said during the interview.

Cao's new book, to be published in September, is reported to contain many tricks of the trade of how to put on perfect make-up as done by the beauty herself, the report said.

Talking about her career as a TV hostess, Cao said she maintains a scrupulous work attitude.

"I won't allow myself to miss any preparation steps during a live broadcast," claimed Cao.

In the face of curious media inquires into her private life, Cao was reported to be very frank and disclosed her plan of getting married in 2008.

"My boyfriend is from Zhengzhou, so the city is also my hometown," said Cao, "I love this place."
