Ditching her former tomboy image of shirt, jeans and black-framed glasses, Zhou, 25, showed a more feminine side by wearing a skirt and high heels at the press conference in Beijing earlier in July to promote the tour, Sing Along The Travel.
She said that she intends to continue to change her style and surprise her fans at the concerts.
The tour will also see the singer dance for the first time. "I hope the changes will give the fans something different. It's a challenge for me, but I am fully prepared," she said.
Before her Beijing concert, Zhou performed in Guangzhou earlier this year, which attracted thousands of screaming fans and she is bringing the set - a 3D castle - to Beijing.
Born in Hunan province and raised in Guangzhou province, Zhou has been dubbed a female version of David Tao, Leehom Wang, and Jay Chou, as she covered some of their songs during the Super Girl Contest.
She has released three albums since her success on the Hunan Satellite Television talent show. But her singing career was suspended due to a contract dispute. She ended her contract with E. E Media Co Ltd at the end of last year, and signed a contract with Taiwan's music label, Golden Typhoon, and finally released her album, Time, which topped local music charts.
In June this year she released her fifth album, I, Fish, Light, Mirror.
"I have experienced good and bad things during the past five years. I feel grateful that my fans stayed with me when I was low. I hope the concert will be a new start and I am looking forward to the next five years," she said.
