Singer-songwriter from Taiwan Chen Qizhen, or Cheer Chen, will stage her solo concert "Piece of Summer" in Beijing's Worker's Stadium over the weekend, sohu.com reports.

Cheer Chen and her team have selected more than 30 songs for the Beijing concert, including her famous songs like "Immortal," "Meaning of Travel" and "Peripeteia." In addition, Chen will also perform French singer ?dith Piaf's "La Vie En Rose" and late Taiwan signer Zheng Yusheng's "Tian Tian Xiang Ni" (I'm Thinking of You Every Day) during the show.

To pay tribute to some renowned rock stars, Cheer Chen has prepared some items to display during the show, such as Michael Jackson's gleaming gloves and the angel wings of Nirvana's vocalist Kurt Cobain.

Cheer Chen is famous for her pure and youthful voice, and also for her talent as a composer as she wrote most of her own songs.
