Spring Scream
Beginning in 1995, Spring Scream is the largest international music and art festival in Taiwan, as well as the music festival boasting the longest history. The outdoor event is held in early April of every year at Kenting in southern Taiwan. It showcases a variety of musical styles from bands both from Taiwan and overseas. The festival adds the name of the Chinese astrological animal to its title each year. The festival is in fact organized by two Americans, Wade Davis and Jimi Moe. It also features a film festival, art exhibits, DJs, various stalls, food vendors and a camping site.
